Startups demands on Budgets. Minister said the interaction is on since First April last year so that matters get amalgamated
in other ministry. Budget announcements is once the year thus juggernaut of govt system of its efficiency get inertia once in year . More expectation of startuPs are varied pace but I know lots of decision still are awaited. Expectation are too high and govt pace are in its own pace of calibrated to get to serve. StartuPs park are essential part for Biotechnology and IiT incubators also an essential nature need immediate attention by the govt. Smart city with wastef management and Sweden are short of waste to cultivate energy is an exemplary for us. Husbandry and vet science need to help livestock to do better for daily life. Fuel blending drainage Agri matter semi conductor roads are too important for us and let us see what budget has to offer?. Patent facilitation and tinkering Labs in School to encourage entrepreneur is being initiated. StartuPs website has been initiated to assist startups to put their brand an easy way to get Eco friendly. IIT too has opened incubators and a platform to give startup to assist the complete tech in ideation of SartuPs. The CSR funding by the corporate to incubators with certain structure could help startup in big way. Banks and Corporate help to build eco system for startup govt allow to give business to startup eco system for venture capital , raw material of special category to be available to startuP in easy ecosystem, Mentor, seed capital and concession in capital gain ,concession in tax and govt to inject capital in startuPs as in China.
India’s small and medium enterprise (SME) sector already provides jobs of 80 million people; contributes 40% of our total exports; and about 8% of the country’s aggregate GDP. Its role in generating employment, nurturing entrepreneurship, improving India’s participation in regional and global production networks; and in expanding exports, specially defence exports will be crucial in the coming period. Despite the salient nature and role of SMEs sector and the rhetoric that surrounds them, they remain a relatively neglected area for rigorous research and effective policy making.
With this in mind, PIF is organising a seminar “Supporting and Incentivising MSMEs to Perform Better”. The objective of the seminar is to contribute to policy advancement in this important area, by marshalling the available expertise and experience and publishing the proceedings as Policy Briefs.
The seminar will be held on 17th January, Tuesday, at 3.00 p.m. at the Seminar Hall I, India International Centre, Max Mueller Marg, Delhi 110 003.
