A suicide bombing in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad has killed 23 people, including nine police officers, and wounded 52 others, Reuters reported citing police and a hospital source. The bomb went off at a police checkpoint in the Kadhimiya district, a mainly Shiite area in the north of the city. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
