Super Srikanth Stands Tall in Thailand

Bangkok, Thailand: In a sensational performance worthy of a true champion, GoSports Foundation's Kidambi Srikanth displayed great maturity and resolve as he clinched the Men's Singles title at the SCG Thailand Open Grand Prix Gold event earlier today. Seeded 13th in the tournament, Srikanth powered his way through the seasoned veteran and top seed Boonsak Ponsana of Thailand - ranked number 7 in the world - in straight sets, 21-16, 21-12

GoSports Foundation has been supporting Kidambi Srikanth for the past 2 years. Since January 2012, this is Srikanth's second title in an international competition (the first came in June last year, when he won the Maldives Open). His world ranking has been consistently improving, as is his national ranking. He is currently ranked number 61 in the world (in June 2012, his world ranking was 143). With his victory in the Thailand Open, 20-year-old Srikanth is positive that he can achieve more success in international competitions. By the end of 2013, Srikanth aims to be ranked within the top-45 in the world.
