In its constant effort to build a Social movement for ecological reconstruction of Punjab KVM is working on Sustainable Farming and Environmental Health crisis in Punjab, with the kind support from the society. Taking this socio-ecological endeavor to new proportions KVM has decided to organize a state level Natural Farming & Environment Festival on 11th, 12th & 13th May2012 at Teachers Home, Bathinda.
This shall be a festival with intellectual and academic dimensions bringing organic farmers, women activists, environment activists, medical professionals, creative artists, literary personalities and youth under one roof.
Festival shall have diverse components such as :  
1.      Traditional Foods- Bebe Di Rasoi
2.      Cultural Programs from different states
3.      Exhibition of paintings and photographs by children
4.      Stale for the sale of Organic Products
5.      Discourse with the eminent experts of ecological farming in India
6.      Practical Training on Natural & Ecological Farming
7.      Exhibition on the Natural farming, Environment & Health
8.      Stalls for the Traditional & Native Seeds
9.      Drama, Play & Film Shows
10.  Literary congregation
Ideological edges & Concerns, Enthusiasm and Joy shall be the indivisible part of this curriculum. When the society works for exploring answers and ways of mitigation for the imminent challenges, it is always associated with a serious effort and community awakening.
KVM is a small organization with limited resources; therefore the program is only possible by your dynamic and active supports.
We hope for your lively involvement and of course valuable suggestions in this context. We also need volunteers to organise such huge program successfully. So, we welcome volunteers to register with KVM for at least 1 weeks time.
