Japan PM Visit India

Dec 27_2011New Delhi: Nksagar-Sagar Media Inc:Japan PM Yoshihiko Noda is on his first visit to India as Prime Minister of Japan.Key issues in bilateral talks will be Infrastructure,science and technology and industrial co-operation for exchange of high and green technology.

Civil nuclear cooperation will be high on the agenda in the summit level discussions between Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and his Japanese counterpart Yoshihiko Noda who reached New Delhi this evening.
He will hold sixth annual meeting with his counterpart. AIR correspondent reports that India held three rounds of negotiations with Japanese authority but the talks were suspended due to Fukushima disaster. The two Prime Ministers will also discuss regional issues, including the new developments in North Korea after the death of its leader Kim Jong-il.
This is Mr. Noda's first visit to India as Prime Minister of Japan. He will be accorded ceremonial reception at the forecourt of Rastrapati Bhavan in the morning. During his visit, Mr. Noda will call on Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi among others.
He will hold talks with External Affairs Minister S.M. Krishna and address a conclave to strengthen India- Japan strategic partnership apart from exchanging views with the Captains of Industry to realize full potential of India-Japan business cooperation.
