Indian eves today qualified for the quarterfinals of the Asian Women's Rugby 7's Championship at the Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune. After suffering defeats at the hands of Asian Games 2010 winners Kazakhstan, Hong Kong, India bounced back as they blanked South Korea 35-0. The win kept India's clean record against Korea intact. Earlier they had beaten them 22-7 in the Asian Championship 2010 in Guangzhou, China. In the quarter-finals, India will face China. Other to have reached the last eight stage are Kazakhstan, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Japan, Thailand and Singapore.
