Grand Alliance led by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is set to record a big victory in Bihar.
It is now leading in over 175 seats. Leaders of Mahagathbandhan thanked people of Bihar for their support.
RJD Chief Lalu Prasad today said that Bihar has picked Nitish Kumar to be its chief minister for a third straight term, handing the Grand Alliance that he leads a big win in the assembly elections.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has called up JD (U) leader Nitish Kumar and congratulated him on victory in Bihar assembly elections.
Amit Shah congratulated Nitish and Lalu and said that the party respects mandate of people of Bihar. He has called the meeting of Parliamentary Party Board tomorrow afternoon in Delhi to discuss the poll defeat in Bihar.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh greeted Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on the Grand Alliance’s thumping victory in Bihar assembly elections today.
Singh extended his greetings to Kumar over telephone. He said centre is committed to provide the Rs 1.25-lakh-crore economic package announced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi for Bihar.
