AAP hands over video CD of Tuglaqabad violence to Delhi Police

A delegation of the Aam Aadmi Party Delhi unit met the Special Commissioner of Delhi Police Mr Deepak Mishra in the evening to demand the arrest of culprits who attacked the AAP volunteers at Tuglaqabad on Saturday. The delegation led by party’s Delhi convenor Ashutosh handed over a copy of the CD containing video evidence which clearly shows the family members of BJP South Delhi MP Ramesh Bidhuri leading the attack on AAP volunteers. The party delegation demanded immediate arrest of the culprits named in the police complaint by injured AAP volunteers, including the nephews of Bidhuri and office-bearers of South Delhi unit of BJP. The AAP is of the consistent view that BJP is trying to vitiate the peaceful atmosphere in the national capital ahead of the assembly elections. Delhi Police must continue to be impartial and investigation in this case directly involving the immediate family of a BJP Lok Sabha MP is a test case for the police credibility. It is surprising that even after 72 hours of the unprovoked attack on the AAP volunteers by the BJP hoodlums, the police has so far not made any arrest in this case. The AAP will continue to expose the BJP and will continue to question the police till justice is done in this case. (ENDS) Regards, AAP Media cell
