FICCI Business Delegation Philippines
Business Seminar & B2 B Meetings

March 4-6, 2014, Manila

We have great pleasure in inviting you to join the Business Delegation to Philippines to participate in the Conference and Buyer-Seller Meet being organized by FICCI from March 4-6, 2014 Manila, Philippines with the support of Indian Embassy and FICCI’s MOU Partners.

The India-ASEAN trade is likely to increase from about US $ 80 billion currently to US$ 100 billion by 2015. However, the bilateral trade between India and the Philippines in FY 2012-13 was just US$ 1.6 billion of which almost two third is  Indian exports to the Philippines. This shows the immense potential for trade between our countries. Also, India – Philippines economic cooperation has a major role in the India ASEAN FTA which is due to be concluded shortly. This will further open doors for trade and investments including that in Services.

The Business Delegation would focus on sectors such as Agriculture, Dairy  & Food Processing, Light Engineering including Electric & Electronics Goods Pharmaceuticals, Ayurveda & Medical equipment, Gems & Jewelers & Handicrafts, Infrastructure / SEZ , IT, ITES, Banking Services, Power / Energy  (oil, gas, renewable), Garment & Accessories,  Telecommunication to name a few.

Looking at the immense scope and potential in Philippines, we invite you to join the  Conference  and the Buyer Seller Meeting. To meet a part of Secretarial expenses, we are obliged to charge a subsidized participation fee of INR 15, 000/-.   Members to bear their own Travel, local transport, Boarding & Lodging expenses. Please send in your kind concurrence in the enclosed Registration Proforma latest by January 27, 2014, along with enclosure checklist mentioned on the form. For any query, please write to my colleague, Mr Amit Tyagi, Joint Director, FICCI. E mail:amit.tyagi@ficci.com

Looking forward to hearing from you and with kind regards,

(Nirankar Saxena)
Senior Director, FICCI
