Ten people are dead after a powerful storm hit northern Europe.
Fierce winds and rain on Friday lashed wide areas of the region.

Winds of more than 140 kilometers per hour were recorded in some locations.
Three  people died in Poland when winds hurled a tree branch onto their car.

The wind knocked down a 40-meter-long chimney at a Polish power station. 400,000 households were left without electricity. A total of ten people have been confirmed dead in Britain, Sweden, Denmark and Poland.
Land, air and sea traffic has been severely disrupted, especially in Germany.
