The Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh said that India is willing to address any specific grievances regarding nuclear liability issue within the four corners of the law of the land.
He informed US President Barack Obama in his meeting on the sidelines of ASEAN and related Summits at Bali, Indonesia that India has gone some way to respond to concerns of American companies.
In an hour long meeting both the leaders declared their intention to push the Indo-US cooperation at bilateral, regional and at global levels.
Dr. Singh said that there are no irritants whatsoever in working together with USA. They also talked about strengthening the bonds of strategic ties put in place during the historic visit of the US President to India in November last year.
Dr. Singh said that cooperation has been strengthened in civil nuclear energy, humanitarian relief, disaster management, maritime security and all other issues that unite the two countries in their quest for a world free from threat of war and other exploitation.Media agencies
