The government has urged the opposition parties not to stall the proceedings of the parliament so that important legislations could be passed. Speaking to reporters in New Delhi today, HRD minister Kapil Sibal said the government wants discussion on every important issue in the Parliament. Mr Sibal said opposition too has a responsibility towards Parliament's functioning. He said the CAG report does not indict the Delhi government.
Corroborating Mr Sibal's view, Law minister Salman Khursheed said, nothing can be achieved without discussion in Parliament. Mr Khursheed said every issue needs to be debated.
